Michael J. Schwartz (M.J.) was born at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center, in Horry County, SC on June 28, 1984. He graduated from Myrtle Beach High School in 2002 and went on to attend The University of South Carolina as an undergraduate student. In 2006, he received a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Real Estate with a minor in Political Science. After completing undergrad studies, M.J. continued his education at The University of South Carolina School of Law.
Upon earning his Juris Doctorate in 2009, he began practicing with Russell B. Long, P.A., where he has been ever since. M.J.’s practice areas include Personal Injury, Family Law, Civil Litigation and Business Litigation.
M.J. is a true Myrtle Beach native, and considers himself lucky to have the opportunity to practice law and give back to the community he loves. M.J. serves as a Director on several local boards, including the City of Myrtle Beach Board of Zoning Appeals. He also coaches Mock Trial at Myrtle Beach High School. Following in his grandfather, Lambo Schwartz’s footsteps, M.J. is a member of the Myrtle Beach Rotary Club.
